Earlier this week, The Damned played Night of 1,000 Vampires wherein they tried to make the show the largest gathering of vampires ever, as certified by Guinness book of World Records. Damned singer Dave Vanian was dressed in a remarkable Nosferatu costume, himself. However, the way the band tallied the number of vampires at the show was by having guests sign in as vamps. The problem is that not everyone that was there in vamp-gear signed the tome. So, as of right now, the Damned are short of the signatures required to make the gig the largest gathering of vampires ever. Therefore, they are asking people that were at the show, who were dressed as Vlads, who did not sign the book, to contact them.
They stated: "If you attended the Palladium show on Monday in Vampire Attire but were unable to sign the Vampire Book, please can we ask that you email a selfie of you and your party, with a covering note to Info@rawpowermanagement.com. Due to logistical issues on the evening we were unable to get a snap of everyone and therefore are short on participants, but with your help we can amass enough evidence to get the record officially. We all deserve it & that’s a fact !!"
