The annual Tibet House Benefit takes place February 26 at Carnegie hall. The event is curated by Philip Glass and the inital artists that will appear at the show have been announced. Iggy Pop, Patti Smith, Laurie Anderson, Bettye LaVette, Margo Price, Jesse Paris Smith, Matt Berninger (of The National, Phoebe Bridgers, the Scorchio Quartet, and Tenzin Choegyal all will make appearances.

The Tibet House US "is dedicated to preserving Tibet’s unique culture at a time when it is confronted with extinction on its own soil. By presenting Tibetan civilization and its profound wisdom, beauty, and special art of freedom to the people of the world, we hope to inspire others to join the effort to protect and save it."
