From Gearhead Records:

We hinted at it in the last newsletter, and now it's finally time to let the cat out of the bag and what a cat it is! Makes that tiger that mauled Siegfried's pal Roy look like a house pet! Yes, the most notorious, infamous, and beloved cult rock 'n' roll band in the UK The Wildhearts have inked a deal with Gearhead. Spring will see the first domestic The Wildhearts release and tour since Warner released the legendary "Earth Vs. The Wildhearts" and the band toured with AC/DC in the mid-90's… We've licensed more than a dozen stellar tracks for release early next year, and a tour with our own rock and roll mainmen The Dragons is also being booked as we speak.

Hot rod/rock artist Dirty Donny is creating the cover art for the new LP, as well as doing several other in-house jobs at Gearhead.

In other news, Stockholm's "DEMONS" will be back in 2004 with Demonology a compilation of non-album cuts from the band. A US tour is also in the works along with a new studio LP for next fall.

Also on deck is a compilation compiled by Eric Davidson of the New Bomb Turks titled Greaseball Melodrama. It contains 16 tracks from bands like The Cuts, Baseball Furies, Colombian Neckties, The Hunches, Rock 'N' Roll Soldiers, Chargers Street Gang, The Goddamn Gentleman, The Blowtops, Mystery Girls, Lost Kids, Scat Rag Boosters, The High Beams, Gypsy Witch, Geraldine, Exxon Valdez, and The Diverters. This record's in stores on November 11th.
