us that Zurich, Switzerland's punkabilly band The Peacocks were recently in the United States recording their follow-up to 2001's Angel. Producer Mass Giorgini (Screeching Weasel, Squirtgun, Anti-Flag) was behind the boards at Sonic Iguana Studios in Lafayette, IN.

The new Peacocks album is due out in February 2004 on Asian Man Records. In Japan the album will be released by TV-Freak, no word at this time on a European label. In early june the band recently released a new seven inch titled Turn on the lights on Sprinter-Records, it was their first recording with new drummer Júrg.
