River City High, recently let go from their major label deal when MCA Records folded earlier this year, has recorded a new EP for release on Doghouse Records. The EP will contain 6 new songs and is scheduled to come out on January 27th, 2004.

In more urgent River City High news, guitarist Bob Anderson and drummer Jay McMillan have left the group to persue other interests. The remainder of the band is looking for replacement musicians - if you're interested, click READ MORE to find out what the band is looking for.

River City High is looking for a drummer and a guitar player/back-up vocalist. The requirements include, among others, the ability to keep up with a frantic touring schedule. We have plans to tour the U.S. as many times over as possible, plus there is talk of Japan and even Europe. A good amount of recording time will also be thrown in there for a new full-length, while we have an E.P. coming out in January on Doghouse Records. We're looking for anybody that enjoys playing rock, likes to work hard and put on a great show, and can kick ass at what they do. The guitar player must be able to sing back-up vocals live. It's also a plus if you like Gibsons and Marshalls, but if you can convince us you rule we don't care if you are playing a rubber band through a CB radio. Drummers: think Dave Grohl, Tommy Lee, Tre Cool, Brian Downey (Thin Lizzy), but hey, if you can rule what you do and do it with confidence and conviction, we don't care if Kenny G is your biggest influence (well…). Obviously, one of the most important things is chemistry, and if we all get along that speaks volumes. We call homebase Richmond, Virginia, but don't plan on being here much after we can get back on the road. If you or someone you love wants to sell their souls to rock 'n' roll, please e-mail us back at rch@rivercityhigh.com.
