us with this news from hulud.com: "Remember this thing? Well, while you thought we had forgotten about it, we have been working hard getting it done. 'A Life In Chapters' will feature Shai Hulud's original demo with original singer Damien Moyal (Culture / Morning Again / As Friends Rust), a live set @ NYU (Hearts Once Nourished lineup), Chad's original demo, detailed liner notes / track explanations, and to be quite honest with you, a lot of bad and useless recordings - which is why we renamed the CD. A Life In Chapters is no longer called A Life In Chapters. It is now called: 'A Comprehensive Retrospective Or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Release Bad And Useless Recordings.' We kid you not. That's what we are calling it. Give us credit for honesty here."

" I went through all my old tapes and found warehouse recordings and the like and figured, heck, let's throw it all in. It's all in good fun. The way I figured it was if The Dead Milkmen put out something like this, I, being a huge Dead Milkmen fanatic, would be very excited for it. Just like I was excited for Progandhi's, Where Quantity Is Job # 1. Lot's of fun stuff there. If perchance there is someone out there that feels about Shai Hulud the way I feel about The Dead Milkmen and Proagandhi, they should be very happy with this release. Our only intention with A Comprehensive Retrospective was to have a good time, and my friends, that is exatly what we did. No Venom cover, unfortunately. Details on its release will be posted here as we get them. Right now, we are shooting for an early 2004 release. January, February, March, April, May - somewhere in there. You know how we work it over here. Ha. '
