Planes Mistaken For Stars (http://www.pmfs.net) are currently finishing up the final touches on their latest album, to be released on No Idea 4/27/04! The band has been locked away in Omaha with producer AJ Mogis (Bright Eyes, Cursive, Small Brown Bike). PMFS will also be touring with Against Me! and No Choice all over the US in April to help kick off the new album. Until then, the band will be touring Europe with The Ataris and Cursive, including a few shows that they will headline on their own. And lastly, since mp3.com was shut down, Planes Mistaken For Stars have moved all of their free MP3s over to http://www.soundclick.com/planesmistakenforstars

Gainesville's own True North have just finished their second album with Rob McGregor (Hot Water Music, Against Me!, Grabass Charlestons) entitled " Somewhat Similar", to be released 3/23/04. This will be the band's follow up to their 2002 EP "Put Your Nightlife Where Your Mouth Is". The band will be heading out on a European tour in March and will be playing shows with No Idea label mates Trapdoor Fucking Exit!

Speaking of Sweden's Trapdoor Fucking Exit, No Idea will be putting out the band's second album "Be Not Content" LP/CD on 2/10/04. AP gave the album a 4 out of 5 rating, comparing them to greats such as Drive Like Jehu, Hot Snakes, and the Stooges. No Idea will also be re-releasing Coalesce's first album "Give Them Rope" on limited edition colored vinyl on 2/24/04. The album has been re-mixed, re-mastered, and has all-new artwork.

No Idea will also finally be releasing the long awaited Rumbleseat CD! Rumbleseat is an acoustic band with Chris Wollard and Chuck Ragan from Hot Water Music, plus Samantha Jones from Bitchin’. The album will come out on May 25th and will feature all the tracks that were previously released on various singles, plus eight new/unreleased songs.

Grabass Charlestons are once again hitting the road in support of their new album "The Greatest Story ever Hula'd". This time the guys will be going all over the US with friends Against Me! and Lucero, then setting out for two weeks with Dillinger Four! . Army of Ponch will be heading for the first time to Europe and they will not be alone. They have multiplied like Gremlins and have added a second guitar player for the tour and for life. Ryan Geis from Rehasher and Savage Brewtality. With Geis now in the band the boys have been working on new material for their second album and will be hitting the studios when they return from overseas….if they come back.
