A reader sent us this quote from fastmusic.com: "According to Fastmusic, the company has been officially served with a legal notice from the RIAA (Record Industry Association of America) regarding Blink 182 mp3s available in the site's MP3 section. The RIAA believes that the punk community, and Fastmusic in paticular have hurt the sales of Blink 182's last release, "Enema of the State."
When asked what the company will do in reposnse to the legal threat, Fastmusic said that they responded to the RIAA telling them to "pick on somone their own size. Both fastmusic and punkmusic have been promoting the band for several years."
While a very witty response, I don't think it'll stand up in court. If they have any trouble though, they have our full support on this one.
