Elvis Costello has announced that he will release two very different albums this fall. First is a new rock record to be released by Nashville based Lost Highway Records. The record is being recorded with The Impostors in Memphis and Oxford, Mississippi and is expected to be the proper followup to 2002's When I Was Cruel.
At the same time Costello will release his first full-length orchestral record on Deutsche Grammophon titled Il Sogno. The album was recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra with conductor Michael Tilson Thomas. Deutsche Grammophon released last year's jazz ballad based North.
