New SideOneDummy signings The Briggs are in search of a bassist. Here's the news from the label's website:

The Briggs have just finished recording their new CD with producer Joe Gittleman. You might know Joe from The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Avoid One Thing. Well, while the Briggs were on tour with the Casualties earlier this year, the discovered some problems with their bass player. So, they had to leave him behind and move forward with Joe Gittleman player bass on their record. Now that it's done they need to find someone who can tour and can play is well as Mr. Gittleman. The band's new EP will be out on June 27th. That month they'll be on the road with Lower Class Brats and Angel City Outcasts. Those dates will be announced soon.
