Pitchfork has confirmed the touring lineup for the main stage of this year's edition of Lollapalooza. Day one will feature Morrissey, Sonic Youth, PJ Harvey, Modest Mouse, Le Tigre, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Broken Social Scene, The Von Bondies, The Walkmen, Wolf Eyes, The Datsuns, Sparta, and Danger Mouse. Day two will see performances from the Pixies, The Flaming Lips, Wilco, The String Cheese Incident, Basement Jaxx, Michael Franti & Spearhead, The Polyphonic Spree, TV on the Radio, The Thrills, Lee "Scratch" Perry & Mad Professor, The Fire Theft, Gomez, Sound Tribe Sector 9, The Coup, Wheat, and Elbow. Not all bands will be performing all days. The Solar Sound Stage, a stage powered completely by solar power, will exist both days and will feature Mike Watt & The Secondmen, Bumblebeez 81, The Dresden Dolls, Carina Round, Ross Golan & Molehead, The Living Things, and more. The lineup is always subject to change.
