The Missing 23rd is breaking up after almost a decade together. Here's the message the band posted on their message board:

Hey everyone it is true we are going to break up. We will be playing a last show in Ventura sometime over the summer. It will be me, Matt, Victor, and Mike D.(original guitarist. We will be playing most of the first and second cd's if you have any songs you want to hear post them here and we will try to do them. i'd just like to thank all the people who have supported us through the past 8 years it has been a fun run.

The show will likely be a Saturday night in late August at the Livery, details should be announced soon. The band has plans to put out one last 14 song CD before they go their separate ways.
