Hot Hot Heat's website is reporting that the band is heading into the studio to record the follow up to 2002's Make Up The Breakdown [review]. Here's the announcement:
Well the time has come, and HHH will be heading down to Los Angeles at the end of the month to start pre-production for their new record. The guys have been writing and recording at home in Victoria, B.C. since January, and they now have roughly 25 songs that are ready to go. Dave Sardy who has worked with Jet, The Thrills, Enon, Oasis, Dandy Warhols, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and many others is on board to produce and mix the forthcoming record.
