The Ripcordz are headed out for a cross Canada tour in support of their new reissue The Ripcordz Are Go(d) on Mayday Records. The album was originally released in 1988 and has been out of print for a decade. It was recorded for about 700 dollars in various university studios in Montreal and features a more garage oriented sound for the long running street punks. The CD also includes six bonus tracks from an `86 recording session.

The band will be heading out for a Canadian tour in support of the release. After a few dates in Ontario they'll jump to British Columbia and working their way eastward "playing every town in Canada named after a forest animal and some of the bigger cities too." The band will be supporting The Casualties on selected dates in September.
