Dirtnap Records has put the first song from High Tension Wires' demo online. The band features members of The Marked Men, The Reds and The Riverboat Gamblers and is expected to release a full length on Dirtnap in February 2005.

Speaking of The Marked Men, that band is on haitus until next summer as Jeff Burke is going to school in Osaka, Japan for a year. The band's website says "when he gets back next summer, we're gonna get back together, see if we can remember some songs, maybe write a few new ones." The Marked Men released a full length earlier this year titled On the Outside.
