In case you didn't know the voting for the 2004 Epitaph Charities Project is currently underway. Like in the past two years the top three charities voted for will divide a $50,000 donation proportionally. Here's what the label has to say:
The Epitaph Charities Project is an annual charitable donation that represents the values of both Epitaph and YOU, the ones who support the label. For the last three years we've picked our favorite charitable organizations, and asked you to tell us which ones are the most important to you by taking a few seconds to vote in our instant poll. This year nothing is as important as the upcoming election, so all the charities in our poll are ones involved in voter registration, education and mobilization for the 2004 elections.
The poll is only open for four weeks this year so the donation can make a difference in the upcoming US election.
Last year's vote resulted in $22,000 for the Center For Reproductive Rights, $15,000 for 50 Years is Enough and $13,000 for Nature Conservancy.
