Montreal's Milanku is done recording their full length and is hoping to have it out in the spring. They're described as being "in the vein of Envy, Explosions in the Sky, Red sparrowes and Mogwai." You can hear two tracks at the band's MySpace page.

The Wading Girl has posted a demo of the song "Ohio" for your listening pleasure. The band released Don't Ever Think I Loved You last year and some members are currently touring with Tim Barry's solo tour. You can hear "Ohio" at the band's MySpace page.

Spoiler NYC, First to Leave, A Billion Ernies

New York punk trio Spoiler NYC, featuring Life of Agony co-founder/bassist Alan Robert on lead vocals and bass, have posted two new songs online. The tracks "Liar Cheater" and "Suicide Hotel" come from the band's forthcoming debut, Grease Fire in Hell's Kitchen. Both songs were recently recorded at Method of Groove Studio in Brooklyn, New York. A Spring 2007 release has been planned on an undisclosed independent label.

California pop-punk band First to Leave have also posted two new songs online. The songs come from the new album, Forging A Future, which will be on Lobster Records. You can check out the tunes at the First to Leave MySpace page.

California-based "hardcore ska" act A Billion Ernies national debut, Stop Calling Us Ska, will be released March 6th via Snapdragon Records. The band has posted some music on their PureVolume site.

Zach Walks Away have posted a new track from their upcoming, so far untitled, album on their MySpace page. The band is currently finishing the recording process, and has been posting the progress of the album on the MySpace page as well.

Michigan's Men As Trees are gearing up to release their first EP, From The Crow's Nest Looking Out. The EP will be the first release by upstart New Jersey label, _____ forest records, in a run of 100 copies. The EP contains 2 songs and runs approximately 27 minutes.
