Truth in Fiction, East City Rivals, Cruiserweight

Milwaukee/Los Angeles based Truth In Fiction will be releasing their next full length, Fireflies via Fabtone Records on May 17, 2008. You can check out four songs from the album on their MySpace page.

Richmond, VA's East City Rivals (current and former members of AVAIL, Ann Beretta, ATP) are playing their first show March 29th. They will be headlining Slaughterama 2008 at the the Canal Club in Richmond, VA. They will be playing with Antlers, Mark Lind (of The Ducky Boys) and Pedals on our Pirateships

Austin, TX's Cruiserweight will have a new album titled Big Bold Letters due out sometime this summer via Doghouse Records. While you anticipate its release, you can currently hear the track "Balboa" as well as snippets from the entire album on the band's MySpace page.

Roam Alone, The Gunshy, Easton Legacy

Middle Georgia hardcore band Roam Alone have posted four new demo tracks to their Myspace page to be streamed or downloaded. The band features former members of Mountain of Youth and several other Georgia hardcore bands.

Chicago IL's The Gunshy will be heading out onto a tour for most of March. The band released There's No Love In This War late last year, and you can find a few songs from it as well as the tour dates on the band's MySpace page.

Merrimack Valley, MA's Easton Legacy have posted two new songs for streaming on the band's Pure Volume pager. The new album is titled New Nightmares to Challenge Sleep and will be released on April 19th, 2008.

Iceberg, The Loyalties, The Cast Before The Break

Buffalo, New York's Iceberg have posted two new songs from their upcoming album Cahier d'Exercise. "Heat of Summer" and "Cosmopolitan Girl" are available for streaming on the band's MySpace page. The group is also currently putting the finishing touches on their followup EP, due this summer, with tour dates coming soon.

London, England's The Loyalties will be releasing their debut album So Much For Soho on April 16th through Vinyl Junkie (Japan), Yeah Right (Canada) and Devil's Jukebox (everywhere else). The band features former members of The Yo–Yo's, Deadline and The Black Halos. Three new songs have been posted on their Myspace page and they have also got a song on a free download comp available at Fuzz.com

Oneonta, New York's The Cast Before The Break have scheduled the release of their debut album, As Your Shoulders Turn On You for March 18th via Red Dragon Records. The band has two songs streaming on their MySpace page.

Femme Fatality, Easton Legacy, Harbor 81

St. Louis, Missouri's Femme Fatality will release their new record One's Not Enough on May 27th, 2008 on Stickfigure Recordings. Two songs from the release can be found at the band's MySpace page along with tour dates running from April through early June.

Massachusetts band Easton Legacy has posted a wealth of music online at PureVolume, including cuts from their first EP Reaction to Turbulence and new full length New Nightmares to Challenge Sleep. The latter was produced by Mike Birnbaum and Chris Bitner, who have previously worked with bands like Coheed and Cambria, Straylight Run and the Sleeping.

Hailing from the Netherlands, hardcore act Harbour 81 are gearing up to release their new full length Live Your Dreams on May 20th via Atlanta's Warbird Entertainment. The 11 song album will feature guest vocals by Jeff Breakdown, Buddha (Blood For Blood) and Dries (Second Chance). You can check out a few new songs at their MySpace page.

Massachusetts basedUs Against The Archers will be posting a new track on their MySpace The band is going to be heading into The Getaway Group recording studio with Jay Mass in May to record their debut EP.

Wild Zero, Conduct, Blacklist Royals

Claiming both Boston and New York as their hometowns, Wild Zero have announced a few upcoming shows in support of their new EP II. The band will be supporting Japan's Peelander–Z on March 29th at the Middle East, followed on April 4th by an appearance at the 30th annual WBCN Rock and Roll Rumble. The band has sound samples and gig details online at MySpace and the full EP online for free at SendSpace.

Christopher Rager, former singer/guitarist/songwriter of The Lovekill, has launched Conduct. The band will feature Rager on guitar and vocals along with Andrew Penmer (bass/keyboard/vocals) and Juan Granda (drums/vocals). The band has posted two new songs online at MySpace with a sound described as "70s inspired rhythms and psych–rock melodies with a little mid–west indie." Upcoming show dates and further info can be found there as well.

Nashville's Blacklist Royals are working to support the Lance Armstrong Foundation to make preventative cancer treatments for all a priority in the US. The band is helping petition state and federal legislatures. The latest goal is to collect 10,000 signatures supporting the cause by Livestrong Day on May 13th, and hte band is pointing fans to the petition at makecancerpriority.com. The Widow Jenkins, Museums, They and the Children

The Widow Jenkins, which features former members of Emery and Brazil, just posted a new demo for their song "The Skeleton Of Dorian Grey." You can hear the track at the Warped Tour Battle of the Bands site. The band is currently writing and demoing for a full length to be released this summer.

Museums have posted their new EP can we meet in the middle for streaming until the release date of March 25th. Check it out at their MySpace page They and the Children have posted two tracks from Home, their upcoming LP. The album is due out April 19th via Kill Normal. Capeside Records has signed Bellville, Ohio based death metal band Artillery Brearth The band will be heading into the studio soon to record their full length tentatively set for a June release.

Torch the Spires, Devon Williams, Beyond the Citadel

Minneapolis, MN based Torch the Spires has posted four songs from their newly recorded demo at their MySpace page. In addition, the band currently has plans to visit Chicago later in the spring to record their debut record with Greg Norman at Electrical Studios.

Devon Williams updated his my space blog with news of a new record, Carefree, which will be released on April 29, 2008 through New York's Ba Da Bing Records. Williams' and his crew will join Destroyer on a West coast tour in May, and he mentioned he would be doing a national tour, "which means across the country," later this year.

Tucson, Arizona's Beyond the Citadel of Coup de Grâce posted five songs from their upcoming EP Bang! The Whiskey Mask on their MySpace page. The band will be playing their CD release show on March 22nd in Phoenix, Arizona at The Hot Box.

Huntington, WV based pop punk band Sarasota have posted 4 songs on their MySpace page in anticipation of the release of the their self–titled debut. The band features ex–members of Digger and TConnie Dungs. The record is self–released and will be available at their live shows.

She Is A Liar has posted two new songs, "Embrace Damnation" and "A Judas Kiss," on their MySpace page. The songs come off the band's recently released self titled EP out now on Hunt Records.

Preorders for the Le Pre Ou Je Suis Mort self–titled LP have started. There is a special package version including half clear / half black vinyl, discobags, all songs on Cd and a nice cotton record bag, which is limited to 200 pieces. The normal version (300 pieces) is pressed on clear vinyl. The full album can be downloaded and streamed here.

Knowhere Records 4-way split, the Massacres, Apathy For An Enemy

Knowhere Records recently released a four way split featuring the Sedations, the Bricktops, the Hollywood Nightmares, and the Griswalds. Each band contributed four songs to the release.

Bouncing Betty Records have announced the signing of Chicago psychobilly act The Massacres. The band's new record Redemption will feature 11 tracks and follow up their 2006 full length Season of the Scarecrow. The release is set to hit retail and iTunes on March 4th and will be featured at the release show on February 27th at the Metro with the Horrorpops, The Pink Spiders, and Steve E. Nix and the Cute Leppers. Bouncing Betty Records has the song "Love You to Death" available for free download on MySpace.

Flint, MI's Apathy For An Enemy has posted two new songs. The band has also posted dates for two weekend trips in March after a four month hiatus. Look for the band to tour with Lansing, MI's Cheap Girls and Chicago, IL's FaceOff. Dates and music can be found over at MySpace.

Botox Party, Rentokill, SleeperHorse

Richmond, VA's pop punks Botox Party have announced a new full length CD to be released through Raise Your Fist Records. The band will record in April or May. A European tour is also being discussed.

Austrian punks Rentokill have posted a stream of their latest album Anti–Chorus online at Big Cheese Magazine. The album was released last May via No Reason Records in collaboration with Rude Records and Broken Heart Records. The stream can be found here. The band is also working on a split with Alternative Tentacles' Boston based Disaster Strikes

Denver's SleeperHorse is hitting the studio soon. The band is recording a full length to be released in April on a label to be announced. A 7'' split with Echoes of Harpers Ferry on Ownlife Records is due for release in April as well.
