Vietnam Werewolf, The Scars, Karrigan

Cleveland punk act Vietnam Werewolf have posted two tracks from their upcoming debut full–length, Ohio's City, on their MySpace page. The band will self–release a CD version of the album in March while Michigan label, Los Diaper, will release the vinyl version later in 2008. The band, who recently added new bassist Tim Gill, of fellow Cleveland punk act Echoes of Harper's Ferry, also have a cassette–only release lined up with Tapes Not Bombs in the new year. Boston punk group The Scars have announced details for their upcoming album, scheduled for release on March 4, 2008. The album was recorded with Jim Siegel at the Outpost in Stoughton, MA. The album will be available in local stores, and online through Interpunk.com and other major download sources. Orlando, FL–based Karrigan is currently up in Woodstock, NY recording their debut EP with Mike Birnbaum and Chris Bittner (Coheed and Cambria, Straylight Run, The Sleeping, Four Letter Lie) They will be recording daily news blogs and posting them online. Halfway to Hell Club, Legitimate Business

Halfway to Hell Club has posted a couple new tracks from their recent recording process. You can hear "What A Surprise" and the fully mixed version of "Kitchen Window" at their MySpace page. Both are from the band's forthcoming EP, Knowledge Is a Curse. The recent Editor's Pick plays tonight at the Moose Lodge in Lindenhurst, NY with Polar Bear Club, Capital, Celebrity Murders, the Agent and Nautical Mile.

New Jersey ska–punk band Legitimate Business has posted their 2007 EP If You Can't Take The Heat… as a free download available on their website. The band's single "80 on 80" was heard in Tony Hawk's Project 8. The download expires on New Years Day. The band also wishes to welcome member Kate Campbell, ex–Long Shot Hero trumpet player. Lockstep, Sounds Of Goodbye, Homemade

Lockstep, which features former members of Naptones, recently spent some time at the Engine Room studios in Indianapolis recording two upcoming EP releases. There'll be a four song 7" coming out in February and a CD ep to kick off their March tour. Expect a preview at their MySpace page soon.

After losing their guitar player, and bass player, they have finally found a solid lineup. Sounds of Goodbye are working on a return tour this spring. They'll be releasing a 6 song EP soon and are playing their first return show tonight in Buffalo, NY. Check out some tracks at their MySpace page.

Capsule, Telestai, Casting Curses

Miami, Florida's Capsule have posted another track from their forthcoming Blue album, which will be released as a vinyl 12" and CD of the same material packaged together. Comprised of ten tracks total, the song "Going Home" has been posted on the band's myspace page. You can check it out right here.

Telestai, featuring former members of I Am Ghost have posted a new song from their debut EP. The record is titled Start The Revolution and is due out January 01, 2008. You can find "Armed Resistance" on their myspace page.

The Famine, Transit, Sounds Of Goodbye

The Famine, which festures former members of Embodyment, have completed recording their Solid State debut with producer Andreas Magnusson (The Black Dahlia Murder, The Agony Scene). Buffalo, NY's Sounds of Goodbye have solidified their lineup. The band now features new bassist Ryan Kozlowski, and guitarist Hank Belding. In addition, lead singer Al Halas is also finally off crutches (he broke his foot playing a show in July). Grand Fatal, Memorial, Raining & OK

Newtown, Australia's Grand Fatal are streaming their new track "Dots & Dashes" online at MySpace. The band recorded recently with long term collaborator JonBoyRock (Hard Ons, Regular John, Hy–Test, Further, Nunchukka Superfly). They're following up their acclaimed full length Allies.

Echoes of Harper's Ferry, The Singularity, Hex Machine

Cleveland, OH act Echoes of Harper's Ferry have posted a song from their upcoming split 7" with Sleeper Horse. The song is called "Chile 9/11/73 and it can be streamed at their MySpace page. Both bands are contributing 2 songs to the 7" and it will come with a card allowing the owner to download the music from the internet, there is a chance it will have some non vinyl bonus songs as well. The 7" will be released by Ownlife Records late 2007 or early 2008.

Hex Machine is releasing Run To Earth, a 12" EP on Molsook Records and has posted songs on their MySpace page. Stuart, Florida's Fillmore East, which features members of Losing iT, My Fair Verona, VisMajor, Primary Weapon, Broadway, and Slow Motion Skyrocket, are getting ready to hit the studio and record a new full length. The band is working with producer Lee Dyess of Earthsound Recording (From First To Last, Mayday Parade, Go Radio,We Are Action) and plan to have the material available by December 28th. Big Town Small Town, Belt of Vapor, Safari So Good

Kingston, New York's Big Town Small Town has finished recording a demo at Leaning Tree Recording Studio. You can check out a few of the songs over at MySpace. The four piece features Sean–Paul Pillsworth, formerly of Anadivine.

Spokane, Washington's Belt of Vapor have finished mixing and mastering for their debut Blackhouse full length The Complex Mating Game of Giants. You can preview some songs over at MySpace. The record was produced by Bill Neiman and features artwork by photographers Chad Ramsey and Pat Kennedy, with graphic layout by Joe Preston. The album's expected in early 2008.

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania's Safari So Good, which features former members of Breaking Pangaea and the Commercials, has released a new song online titled "The Right to Bear Arms." The song appears on their upcoming album to be released this coming Spring.
