The Famine, Transit, Sounds Of Goodbye

The Famine, which festures former members of Embodyment, have completed recording their Solid State debut with producer Andreas Magnusson (The Black Dahlia Murder, The Agony Scene). Buffalo, NY's Sounds of Goodbye have solidified their lineup. The band now features new bassist Ryan Kozlowski, and guitarist Hank Belding. In addition, lead singer Al Halas is also finally off crutches (he broke his foot playing a show in July). Grand Fatal, Memorial, Raining & OK

Newtown, Australia's Grand Fatal are streaming their new track "Dots & Dashes" online at MySpace. The band recorded recently with long term collaborator JonBoyRock (Hard Ons, Regular John, Hy–Test, Further, Nunchukka Superfly). They're following up their acclaimed full length Allies.

Flightplan Records will be putting out the new Memorial record soon. The 9 song LP The Creative Process/Berlin is set to be released in late winter. You can check out some of the band's music via MySpace.

Arizona rock act Raining & Ok has music streaming online via MySpace. Earlier this month the band gave a "pay what you want" download system a shot and offered up their debut full length The Devil on Your Shoulder for a limited time.

The Short Fused, The Guts, Alligators, Transit

Punk rock group The Short Fused have posted a second song from their upcoming full–length. Check out their original Christmas carol, "Xmas Sell Out" on their MySpace page.

Pop–punkers The Guts have posted a new track from their new album, Let It Go online. The album will be out some time next year, via Rally Records, who are streaming the song "Down The Drain" on their MySpace page.

Hudson, Man and Wasp, Mybe

Hudson has posted two songs from their new EP recorded with John Naclerio (Brand New, My Chemical Romance). The songs are titled "Too Far Gone" and "So Much for Second Chances" on their MySpace page.

Man and Wasp have posted two tracks from their debut EP. The band features members of Darkest Hour, Frodus, Decahedron, and Division of Laura Lee. Grab them at their MySpace page.

Mybe has received financial backing and entered the studio to begin recording their followup to Small Man Syndrome. They are recording with Carl Bown (Fightstar) at Tree House Studio.

After the Fall, The Guts, L.E.S. Stitches, Phone Trio

After The Fall from Albany, NY, recently recorded songs for a split 7" with Transitions and a Kid Dynamite Tribute compilation. Both releases will be out in early 2008 and you can hear a song from each at their MySpace page.

The Guts have finished recording their new record Let It Go for Rally Records at Smart Studios. The album was produced by Ben Weasel and you can find more information at their MySpace page.

Downers, Empty Orchestra, Kool-Whip

Downers from Waterford, MI, have posted several new songs up. The band promises tracks in the vein of Refused and Give Up The Ghost and you can find them on their MySpace page Empty Orchestra from Flint, MI, just finished shooting a new music video in Flint's historic Capitol Theater with director Mike Berlucchi. Former Beowulf frontman Dale Henderson has hitched his new band Kool–Whip to the new label Revell Records. The label's first release will be Dirty Movie from the band. Check out tracks from the album here, at the label's MySpace page.

Echoes of Harper's Ferry, The Singularity, Hex Machine

Cleveland, OH act Echoes of Harper's Ferry have posted a song from their upcoming split 7" with Sleeper Horse. The song is called "Chile 9/11/73 and it can be streamed at their MySpace page. Both bands are contributing 2 songs to the 7" and it will come with a card allowing the owner to download the music from the internet, there is a chance it will have some non vinyl bonus songs as well. The 7" will be released by Ownlife Records late 2007 or early 2008.

The Singularity has posted a new track, "Bled To Death", from their upcoming full length which slated to be done and out in 2008. They have also posted some "homestyle" music videos for two of their new tracks. You can check it all out at their MySpace page.

Hex Machine is releasing Run To Earth, a 12" EP on Molsook Records and has posted songs on their MySpace page. The band hails from RVA and is described as being similar to "the Jesus Lizard, Hammerhead, The Melvins, VAZ, and some Shellac" and features members of bands like Sliang Laos, Human Thurma, Tulsa Drone, Farquhar, and ((HRM)).

Fillmore East, Sakes Alive!!, It's Elephant's

Stuart, Florida's Fillmore East, which features members of Losing iT, My Fair Verona, VisMajor, Primary Weapon, Broadway, and Slow Motion Skyrocket, are getting ready to hit the studio and record a new full length. The band is working with producer Lee Dyess of Earthsound Recording (From First To Last, Mayday Parade, Go Radio,We Are Action) and plan to have the material available by December 28th. Rochester, NY's Sakes Alive!! recently played their first show. The band has three songs online from their recent release Presents. Dirty Tactics, Tiefighter, A Great Big Pile of Leaves

Philadelphia's Dirty Tactics have posted two new songs of what looks to be their forthcoming EP, Gangsta Stamina. Southern California's Tiefighter has posted 3 tracks off of their upcoming debut record, I Could Tell The World…. The record will see a release in February 2008 through Forward Looking Records. Big Town Small Town, Belt of Vapor, Safari So Good

Kingston, New York's Big Town Small Town has finished recording a demo at Leaning Tree Recording Studio. You can check out a few of the songs over at MySpace. The four piece features Sean–Paul Pillsworth, formerly of Anadivine.

Spokane, Washington's Belt of Vapor have finished mixing and mastering for their debut Blackhouse full length The Complex Mating Game of Giants. You can preview some songs over at MySpace. The record was produced by Bill Neiman and features artwork by photographers Chad Ramsey and Pat Kennedy, with graphic layout by Joe Preston. The album's expected in early 2008.

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania's Safari So Good, which features former members of Breaking Pangaea and the Commercials, has released a new song online titled "The Right to Bear Arms." The song appears on their upcoming album to be released this coming Spring.
