Thailand-based hardcore band Whispers have released a video for their new song “Close Your Eyes”. The video was directed by Jediiano. The song is off their upcoming EP Yom-Ma-Lok which will be out on December 13 via Flatspot Records. Whispers released their split with Gates of Hopeless, A Split Document, in 2023 and released their EP Narok Bon Din in 2021. Check out the video below.
Bristol-based punk rock band Split Dogs have released a video for their new song “Precious Stones”. The video was directed by Chris Hugall. The song is off their album Here To Destroy which will be out on February 28 via Venn Records. Split Dogs released their self-titled album in 2023. Check out the video below.
St. Catharines, Ontario-based Vertigo Music Festival has announced its lineup for this year. The Dirty Nil, Minuscule, Cam Kahin, Lauren Dillen, Dear-God, Sophi, Sunshine Express, Velvet Beach, Sun Junkies, Soft Animals, Jules Is Dead, Lydia Stephen, and Maggot Pizza will be playing. Vertigo Music Festival will take place on March 15, 2025 at Isaac’s Bar and Grill at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario.
Spy have announced that they have signed to Closed Casket Activities and will be releasing a new EP in early 2025. The band has also released their first song on the label, “On The Brink”. Spy are currently touring North America with Better Lovers and released their album Satisfaction in 2023. Check out the song below.

Chicago-based post-punk band FACS have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Wish Defense and was the final album that the late Steve Albini engineered. It will be out on February 7 via Trouble In Mind Records. The band has also released a video for the title track which was directed by Joshua Ford. FACS released their live album Maggot Brain 020324 earlier this year and released Still Life In Decay in 2023. Check out the video below,
Florida-based music festival Welcome to Rockville has announced its first wave lineup for 2025. The Dillinger Escape Plan, Quicksand, Health, Deafhaven, Converge, Full of Hell, Harms Way, and Candy will be playing the festival. Welcome to Rockville will take place on May 15-18, 2025 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Deadbody and Tribal Gaze have announced that they will be releasing a split album. It features five songs by Deadbody and three songs by Tribal Gaze and will be out on November 15 via Closed Casket Activities and Maggot Stomp. Both bands have also released a new song. Deadbody has released “Horrors of the Reformed” and Tribal Gaze has released "Let His Servants Starve”. Deadbody released their debut album The Requiem in 2022. Ceremony have announced that they will be playing a show with Militarie Gun to benefit Palestine. Proceeds will be donated to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund and Care for Gaza. The show will take place at Midnight Hour Records in San Fernando, California on December 1. Ceremony will be playing their 20th anniversary shows in March. See the poster below.
Snoop Dogg will release his new album Missionary on December 13. The new album is produced entirely by Dr. Dre and is the first "all Dr" Snoop lp since 1993's Doggy style. Snoop has stated that Sting and Jelly Roll are on the record. 50 Cent also stated that he was on the record in a comment earlier this year. No singles have been released, yet. We'll keep you updated.

Matty Grace has released a new song. It is called “Inside.Nervous.Exhaused.” and is available now on Bandcamp. Speaking about the song, Matty said,
”’Inside.Nervous.Exhausted.’ reflects on the constant push and pull of making yourself small and self-advocating for your needs. Chronic illness has a way of creeping up on you when you’ve had a lifetime of physicians and armchair experts telling you that everything you’ve experienced and know to be certain isn’t real. Self-advocacy shouldn’t be so hard but sometimes you don’t get a choice. Whatever, I’m fine.”
This is her second single released so far this year, the first of which was “I May Be A Bad Influence But At Least I’m Not A Fascist Cuck” in July. Matty released her EPs The Breakdown of Progress and Start. Stop. Repeat. along with her collection album Blemishes and Scars in 2023. Check out the song below.
