Oklahoma City's Get Fired return with their sophomore follow up to the 2016 EP Things That Are Not Rocket Science.


Clocking in at just under 10 minutes, this 7-song set of quick tunes with catchy hooks take on a somewhat more serious tone lyrically than its predecessor while staying true it their pop punk core. Songs such as "Flag Boy" tackle politics while "Thank You For Calling" laments the plight of the modern day call center employee.

Its standout moments include the simple pop punk songs such as the opening track "The Only Thing That Matters is Whatever's After the Hashtag" and the closer "Star Map".
