For me, early 80's hardcore punk is an aquiered taste. The Circle Jerks are no exeption. As I listen to this record more and more, it grows on me.
Enough about me, on to the album. This record, as the title suggests is a compilation of the albums Group Sex, and Wild in the Streets. Unfortunately, since I bought it, I have not been able to find this album online. However, the two albums it contains are widely available individually. The 29 tracks contained do not dissapoint, if you're a fan of early 80's hardcore punk. To compare this to other bands in their scence, this is: early Bad Religion, with better production. Dead Kennedys, with a little less musical diversity, as there are no surf elements to be found. Minor Threat, with a more hedonistic approach to life. A little more coherent than Angry Samoans.
If you're a fan of the bands I listed above, you need this record. It might be just what you're looking for.
If your exposure to punk rock is limited to Green Day and Sum41, this album will probably come as quite a shock.
