Woo. More psychobilly. I can sum this up in a few words: If you like psychobilly, you'll like Demon City Wreckers. If you don't, you won't.
I don't know about any of you, but I really can't tell a difference between any of these bands. Whether it's Tiger Army, Nekromantix, Horrorpops, etc. -- they all sound goddamned the same. Yeah, I understand that you embrace the whole motorhead culture / hillbilly demonic imagery stuff. That's nothing new. I bet these chumps have those weird stylized pompadours as well.
It's not horrible. Not at all. I'd rather listen to it than most shitty types of music, but it absolutely just does nothing for me. Whatsoever. It's hard for me not to see it as a novelty act. Like power metal. It just seems silly to me that the people who play these types of musical genres actually take themselves seriously. But enough of my ranting.
Inner Demons features two vocalists trading off, though if they weren't split in stereo, you wouldn't be able to tell. There are ten songs, each song has four chords, and each combination of these four chords is around three to four minutes. Each song also features the same zombie imagery. But I'm sorry, I'm just ruined on zombie songs after Zeke's "Evil Dead." Now that was a fucking song about zombies. Anyway, as far as psychobilly goes, I've heard much worse. But I've also heard better.
