Johnny Bonnel and Darius Koski from street punk legends The Swingin' Utters team up for this roots based 9 song record. The album is split between traditional irish folk stylings and 70's punk rock and roll in the vein of The Pogues, The Clash, Johnny Thunders, or The Stooges. This is the type of album you could put on repeat, warm up to a case of beer, and get completely shit faced to. If thats not your cup of tea, you might still like this if you appreciate the heartfelt lyrics, skilled musicianship, and soulful vocals that these two are known for. Not recommended to kids just getting into the punk rock, but definetly recommended to anyone who likes the formentioned bands especially the Swingin' Utters. I would also recommend this to anyone who enjoyed the Mike Ness solo cds. This kind of has that feel to it. From TKO Records.
