Chicago-based post-metal acts Cookegoat and Barren Heir have released their split album Sunshine/Tracing Light on vinyl. The LP, originally released as a digital download in June of 2018, features four songs by Cokegoat and two by Barren Heir.
This is the third release by Cokegoat, following up their 2016 LP Drugs and Animals; and the second for Barren Heir after their 2016 release Tired Turns.

Canadian trio [{Trashed Ambulance]] have released a second single from their upcoming album. "Open Road" is off of the Shorthanded EP, which is due out June 7th on Thousand Islands Records. This is a follow-up to their 2018 LP Flashes of Competence, also on the same label.

Punknews is excited to bring you the new single "Under Attack" from Try Harder, the new EP by Canadian quartet Bad Buzz. This penultimate track from the EP take things down a little mellower, and a little more emotional. Each song so far stands out on its own, but now we're beginning to get a feel for the EP as a whole, and it is sounding pretty solid!
We've premiered one track (just about) every two weeks and are now coming around to the home-stretch: the final song will be available next Friday when the whole EP is released. If you've been paying attention to this new-song-every-two-weeks premiere schedule, you're now starting to get a feel for how Bad Buzz keeps the pop-punk aesthetic all while not sticking to a one-trick-pony routine. "If It's Right" is a smorgasbord of styles from low-tempo mild to high-tempo energy, likely making it the most eclectic song so far off of the EP.

Sweden's Tear Them Down are streaming their new EP No Sleep 'Til Aröd in full. Just released today, the album is put out by Backbite Records, Morning Wood Records, and Plunk Records; and is produced by Per Ståhlberg of Division of Laura Lee-fame.

Long-running California punks Ten Foot Pole and Indianapolis one man pop-punk band Benny and the No-Goods have teamed up for an ADD/ADHD themed split seven inch with all profits to be donated to the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation. BBRF is a major source of funding for research into the treatment and management of disorders like ADD and ADHD. Ten Foot Pole contributes "ADD", which appeared on their 2017 LP Setlist . Benny and the NoGoods chip in "ADHD", which will be on the upcoming Nothing's Cool full length. Both songs have fun with topic, even while acknowledging its seriousness. The cover art is by Paul Russel, who is best known for his work with Screeching Weasel. The seven inch will be limited to 300 copies in transparent blue, and is expected to ship in August.
Seattle based punks Dead Bars released a full stream of their upcoming new album over at Kerrang. The 11 track album is called Regulars and is due out May 3, 2019 on A-F Records. You can click here to listen to the full album.

Each band contributes a single track to the EP (although Okänt's submission is actually two songs), and it is available as a name-your-price download via each band's Bandcamp page.
