Outdoor Velour release two more tracks from “Our Songs” deluxe edition

Outdoor Velour (feat. Punknews' own Greg Simpson) have released two more tracks from their upcoming Our Songs - Deluxe Double Album. The two tracks are "On A Plain" (originally by Nirvana) and "Up to You" (originally by Damone).

This release is an expanded version of last years' Our Songs covers album. The new deluxe edition features a new remix and remaster, as well as an additional 12 cover songs recorded throughout the band's 14-year history.

The Our Songs - Deluxe Double Album releases this Friday, March 1st, across major download and/or streaming sites.

Take-Off release new single

Singapore punk trio Take-Off have released a new single as a name-your-price download at their Bandcamp page. "Sound The Siren (I Know Things Now That I Didn't Know Then)" is a stand-alone single, and follows up their 2017 album This Won't Save the World. You can check out the new track below.

Dangers of Love: “I'm a Pretender”

New London, UK actDangers of Love (featuring members of Apologies, I Have None, Great Cynics) have released a new song, covering 2003's "I'm a Pretender" by ill-fated Portland act The Exploding Hearts.

Dangers of Love released their first single (also titled "Dangers of Love") this past October.

Dead Fall: 'Never Expected'

We are pleased to bring to you a Punknews Exclusive stream for Kent, Ohio's emo punk band Dead Fall. Dead Fall is releasing a new five song EP titled Never Expected tomorrow and we are premiering their full EP below. The band formed in 2013 while still in high school and pulls their influences anywhere from emo, shoegaze to punk. Dead Fall is for followers of Title Fight, Citizen, and The Story So Far.

SICK SHIT release new EP

New Jersey hardcore act SICK SHIT released a new EP on Christmas day. Aptly titled EP 2018, the three track album is available as a name-your-price download on their Bandcamp page. You can check out the lead track, "Gristle," below.

Arbor Christmas releases Volume 19 of their Christmas compilation

Southern Jersey punks have gathered together to produce their annual Arbor Christmas series. The compilation features original Christmas songs from Aspiga, By Surprise, The Only Ghost In Town, Ages, The Classic Brown, It's A King Thing, Graduation Speech and much more. Mat Kerekes: “Ruby”

Mat Kerekes lead singer of Citizen is releasing a solo album titled Ruby on Black Cement Records. Kerekes released the title track off of the new record, see below.
Mat Kerekes will also be heading out on a US tour in the new year with Jetty Bones and Jacob Sigman, see below.

Bracket stream part of new song, tease new album for 2019

Bracket released a part of a new song on Saturday via their Instagram account. The song, "Exit Interview," will be off of the band's forthcoming, title TBA, album in 2019. Book Yer Ane Fest XII streams new comp

Make-That-A-Take Recordshave released a new comp as a companion to this year's Book Yer Ane Fest XII, which is happening as you read this. The comp is available as a name-your-price download via their Bandcamp page, and all proceeds go into the pool slated for charities from the non-profit fest itself.

Book Yer Ane Fest is a (kind of) annual fest held in Dundee, Scotland, which is now in its tenth year. The event is held across multiple venues over the weekend and features acts from both the UK and abroad, with all proceeds split between several worthwhile charities local and throughout Scotland.

Wood Chickens: “Emilio Estevez”

Wisconsin based cowpunk band Wood Chicken have announced they will be releasing a new country/psychedelic/punk album through Big Neck Records at the end of this year. The album is called Well Done and it was produced by Bobby Hussy. We are happy to share with you the bands latest single from the new record. The track is called "Emilio Estevez", see below. The album will be out on December 7th, 2018.

Down Memory Lane now streaming new EP “Release”

French-Canadian melodic punks Down Memory Lane are now streaming their new, sort-of EP, Release via Thousand Islands Records. The EP consists of six songs which are part of what the band is referring to as a "conceptual EP release" or, the be more clear, it is actually the back half of a 12-song album, with the first six songs due out early next year (on the album's Bandcamp page, those first six tracks are each currently occupied by the same short "recorded message" informing the listener that the tracks are forthcoming).

DML's most recent release was the 2017 French language-only EP Vice Caché , also on Thousand Islands.
