IKARI WARRIORS: “Dry Bones”

Punknews is excited to premiere a new track from IKARI WARRIORS' new album. The song, "Dry Bones" comes off of the band's debut LP Sundowner, which will be self-released on February 8th. The song is a testament to the 80's-era DIY sound, with the music style rooted in that decade, but also influenced by punk from the intervening years.

Paper Rifles: “Ophelia”

Punknews is excited to premiere a new track from Edinburgh's Paper Rifles. "Ophelia," originally released as an acoustic track in 2015, is presented here in electric with a full band, and is chock full of indie stylings with a nice punk aesthetic. The track comes off the band's debut album The State Of It All, which is due out March 2nd on Round Dog Records and Anti-Manifesto Records.

The band will be holding an album release party on March 3rd in their hometown but, before that, Jon (songwriter/lead vocalist/guitarist) will be hitting Europe for a Paper Rifles acoustic tour with Billy Liar. You can check out the stream, and all of those tour dates, below.
