Listen to Glow & The Dark's new single!

Today, we are stoked to premiere the new track from San Diego based Glow & The Dark! The band is made up of AJ Peacox (Weatherbox, Sundressed, Future Crooks) and Jordan Krimston (Weatherbox, Band Argument). The song is called "I Don't Want To Skate". AJ Peacox said of the song,

"Jordan & I knew we’d be gone playing with Oso Oso for almost 2 months, so we wanted to release this song to hold people over until we got back to record more. The most exciting part of this release is that we got one of my favorite local artists LOSER HEAVY to do the artwork. It looks awesome on the new bags of coffee we’re releasing along with it!"

The band have also announced that they will be releasing a limited edition whole bean coffee, called "I Don't Want to Skate", roasted by Dark Horse Coffee Roasters along with the single. The song and coffee will be available everywhere digitally tomorrow via Dark Horse Coffee Records and can be pre-ordered here. Glow & The Dark released their self-titled EP earlier this year. Listen to the new album by Virginity!

Today, we are stoked to bring you an exclusive stream of Florida power punk band Virginity's new album a day early! The album is called POPMORTEM and features ten stellar tracks. Speaking to Punknews, guitarist and vocalist Casey Crawford said of the album,

POPMORTEM as an album is all about the songs, which may seem redundant but I mean that both literally and figuratively. More than a few of the tracks are literally about writing songs and my frustrations (and joy) with that process, as well as some reflection on tropes within the songwriting arena. The actual process of putting these songs together was some of the most challenging creative work I’ve ever been a part of, but I feel like at the end of the day—regardless of what anyone else has to say about it—we accomplished what we were aiming for, which is a record with a collection of songs that we all really love and are just so fucking proud of. We pushed ourselves every time we were demoing or working in the studio to make interesting decisions and not allow our previous work or our genre to define those choices. There are always happy accidents when you’re making art, but I’ve never worked on anything as intentional as this. We spent hours on guitar tones and sections of the music. We wrote and rewrote stuff from the ground up multiple times and scrapped maybe 8 songs entirely in the process. If we didn’t all love some aspect, we kept at it until we did. As we got closer and closer to wrapping it up, we started getting a better picture of exactly what the record could be and, at that point, I think we all pushed even harder. We also brought in outside help for the first time in having the powerful Jack Shirley (Rosenstock, Deafheaven) mix and master the record for us. Now that we’re on the other side of that and I’ve had nearly a year to live with the record, I feel like it was the only decision to make. It’s almost like we made all the pieces for a jigsaw puzzle that only Jack could put together and he did so beautifully. We set out to try to make POPMORTEM something a little grander than its individual parts and, while everyone may not agree that we accomplished that, I feel like we got there. Like I said, we love these songs and I hope everyone that listens can hear the work blood, sweat and tears that went into it.”

POPMORTEM will be out everywhere October 15 via Smartpunk Records and can be pre-ordered here and pre-saved here. Listen to the album in full below!

Listen to the new album from Rationale!

Today we are thrilled to bring you a premiere for the new album from Rationale.! The power trio is made up of Dan Lambton formerly of Real Friends and Joe Taylor and Ryan Runcaks of Knuckle Puck. The album is called If The Problems Persist. Lead vocalist Dan Lambton said of the album,

"If the Problems Persist" is special to us because even as the title suggests, that if our problems seem to persist, we are persisting as well. I know a lot of us have dealt with isolation and a lot of uncertainty over the last year and a half, that things may not return to normal as soon as we'd like, if they ever do. But we continue to roll with the punches and whatever else life may throw at us in hopes that we can adapt and find new ways to keep going individually and as a community, that our problems and issues don't define us, and through art and open communication we can help each other, offering our insights and perspectives in hopes that others can relate and we can pull through this together."

If The Problems Persist will be out digitally September 24 and will be available on vinyl in 2022 via Smartpunk Records. Check out the album in full below!

Stream the new EP from Talk Me Off!

Today we are extremely excited to bring you an exclusive premiere of the new EP from Richmond, Virginia based punk band Talk Me Off! The EP is called Abyss and features five new super-charged tracks from the band. Guitarist and co-vocalist Holly Herzog said of the EP,

“Abyss is definitely a record with dark themes about afterlife and adulthood not living up to the hype. There are a lot of things these days to be angry and sad about. We try and take our anger out on super fast songs about everything sucking. I feel like most people can relate to a lot of the feelings around these songs, but they would also just be really fun to skate to."

Abyss will be available everywhere April 20 via Smartpunk Records, Swamp Cabbage, Gunner, and Wallride Records and you can pre-order a physical copy of the EP here. Talk Me Off last released Cursed in 2020. Check out Abyss in full below!
