Check out Middle-Aged Queers new album in full

Punknews is excited to premiere the debut LP by Oakland, CA queercore quartert Middle-Aged Queers. The band, comprised of punk veterans who have served in the ranks of acts like Flipper, Fang, Yaphet Kotto, and more; bring their experience to the fore with a decidedly DIY punk sound recording the album in under 8 hours and on a shoestring budget.

The album is released tomorrow via their own label Outpunx Records, with a special limited edition in pink vinyl available via Sell The Heart Records. The band will be playing a record release gig at the infamous Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco, as well as a line of dates set up for the coming months. Gas Hands: “I'm Not In Love (With You)”

Northern Ireland's Gas Hands (ex-Lost Avenue) have released a new single via Spotify. "I'm Not In Love (With You)" is the band's second stand-alone single, following 2019's "Move." The band is currently in production of their debut EP, with an expected release in September of this year.

Gas Hands is also kicking off their first tour of the UK, and you can check out the new single, and the dates of that tour, below.

Wyldlife: “Kiss and Tell”

NYC rock/70's punk act Wyldlife have are now streaming a new single from the upcoming album. "Kiss and Tell" comess of of the bands new LP Year of the Snake, which is due out April 17th via Wicked Cool Records, and follows up their 2017 LP Out On Your Block. Middle-Aged Queers announce new album, release first single

Oakland, CA's Middle-Aged Queers (ex-Flipper, Fang, Yaphet Kotto, etc.) have announced they will be releasing a new album this spring. Too Fag For Love is due out March 14th via their vanity label Outpunk Records, in conjunction with Sell The Heart Records.

As part of the announcement the band has released the lead track from the album, "Gary's Making Biscuits," as their new single. MAQ also has a series of gigs scheduled throughout the coming months. You can check out the new track, and those dates, below.

Wrong Life (ex-Murderburgers) release first single

Wrong Life, the new project from Fraser of The Murderburgers, have released a demo of their first single, "Death to the Encore." The song is expected to feature on their upcoming, TBA debut release, which is slated to be recorded next month. Until then you can check out the new track below.

Debt Cemetary: “Kindasortamaybe”

New Toronto skatepunk act Debt Cemetary (feat. members of The Wet Bandits, Hotel Murder, ex-Family Meeting) have released the first single from their upcoming EP. Dayton, Ohio's Raging Nathans and Seattle, Washington's Dead Bars have released a split EP. Appropriately titled SPLIT EP, the album is out now via Rad Girlfriend Records. You can stream a track off of the album from each band below.

Alexisonfire release new single “Season of the Flood”

Canadian post-hardcore band Alexisonfire have released “Season of the Flood”, a new single that is available digitally and on single-sided 10-inch vinyl with a laser-etched b-side. Alexisonfire released singles “Familiar Drugs” and “Complicit” in 2019. They are touring with the Distillers and Nobro later this month. See the dates and listen to the single below.

Worriers: “PWR CPLE”

Brooklyn based punks Worriers recently announced they will be releasing a new album this year. They released the first track off of the album, "PWR CPLE", see below. You or Someone You Know will be released on March 6th, 2020 through 6131 Records. The band will also be out on tour starting on March 12th to promote the release.
