Angels and Airwaves, the current project of Blink-182 guitarist Tom DeLonge, has a fansite reporting from an issue of Kerrang! that the band will be releasing their first track, the six-and-a-half-minute "Valkerie Missile," through iTunes on December 20th. DeLonge says the content will also include a trailer for the forthcoming album-related movie, and possibly a video.

Angels and Airwaves' debut full-length is slated for release in April 2006.

Blink-182 recently released their Greatest Hits retrospective, with their last proper effort coming in 2003, the self-titled album. The band announced their hiatus in February.
