Who Cares Who, the live music organization ran by Direct Hit!'s Nick Woods, have announced the details for the upcoming festival Dummerfest 2K15. The one day punk festival will take place at The Metal Grill in Milwaukee, WI on June 20. Acts that have been confirmed for the festival so far are 88 Fingers Louie, In Defence, Tenement, Get Rad, and Direct Hit!. Organizer, Nick Woods, explains his decision to create the festival:

I wanted an excuse to get some of my favorite bands from the middle of the country to all come and hang out in my town on the same day. I’ve had a lot of fun booking shows around Milwaukee over the last year for a lot of new friends, and I’m hoping this party will help convince many more to make our city a tour stop in 2015 and 2016, and help support live music in smaller, independently-run venues… I started going to watch my friends play shows with their bands when I was 14 years old. If live music hadn’t been available at my high school and around Oconomowoc, where I grew up, I’m not entirely sure what I’d be doing with my life. I would hope this party gives people like me the same kind of positive experience they had going to see their first few shows when they were kids. For those of a younger generation, I’d hope it gives them a positive new impression of the kind of music that’s meant a lot to me for most of my life.
