Punkcore Records has updated their website with news on a number of future releases.

On September 7th they will release the debut album by Toronto street punk's Action. The label compares their sound to Conflict, The Varukers and Crucifix.

On October 4th Defiance will release their new album Rise Or Fall, which includes a cover of the `77 Menace song "Screwed Up." Also on that day Cheap Sex will return with Headed For A Breakdown, that "makes the band's influences such as Discharge and Battalion of Saints brutally evident!

Punkcore has also announced the signing of Kildare / Dublin Ireland's Blood Or Whiskey, who are "known in Europe as one of the first bands to successfully combine punk rock and traditional Irish music, like their predecessors, the Pogues. The band will release their Punkcore debut sometime in 2005.
