The highlights from the recent MTV Icon tribute to The Cure are online now. You can stream videos of Blink 182 performing "A Letter To Elise," AFI doing "Just Like Heaven," and the Deftones rendition of "If Only We Could Sleep" among others.
The Cure's 1979 debut Three Imaginary Boys will be re-released on November 15th of this year as part of the Deluxe Edition series. It was digitally remastered by Chris Blair at Abbey Road and now features a second CD of rare tracks compiled by Robert Smith. It contains 6 previously unreleased songs and 15 tracks available on CD for the first time. The 16 page liner notes booklet has notes put together by Johnny Black.
