Monday, October 4th, between 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. EST, the Dropkick Murphys will play a rally at Fenway Park in support of the Boston Red Sox's bid to win the 2004 World Series and break an 86-year old curse. The schedule of events for the rally can not be exaclty pinned down as yet because the team is trying to coincide the schedule of events with the team's practice on the day, but the band is expected to take to the stage sometime between 4:30 P.M. and 6:30 P.M. EST. The event will be televised on NESN and on the Jumbotron in the park. The Murphys, who will be playing live on top of the dugout, will become only the third group or artist to play the park in Fenway's history. The other two are Bruce Springsteen and Jimmy Buffet.
