Further Seems Forever guitarist Derick Cordova, along with Nick Dominguez (ex-Strongarm and FSF) have started a label called Pop Up Records. They have just signed New York City's Lakota and will be releasing their debut EP shortly. The four piece, who recently appeared on Deep Elm's This Is Indie Rock compilation contributing "So Simple," are described as "Bob Mould fronting the Foo Fighters," and will be heading to Arizona in late December to start work on their full-length with ex-The Stereo frontman Jamie Woolford behind the boards. The label is aiming to release the full-length this coming spring.
