Daughters have announced that they've split with guitarist Perri Peete who will return to West Virgina for personal reasons. The band has recruited original guitarist "Nick the Dick" who played on the band's first self-titled seven inch, and they promise that "writing is due to begin after the holidays as we teach the little guy the remainder of the material he is not familiar with."

The band released their first full length, Canada Songs in 2003.
