Robotic Empire has signed Richmond, VA based pop-punk act Pink Razors. The label will re-release the band's first recording Scene Suicide in February. It was originally issued as a limited cassette-only release, and has since been remastered by Scott Hull at Visceral Sound and expanded with a new acoustic track. The EP will be available from both the band and label in time for the band's upcoming Richmond show with Strike Anywhere on February 3rd, with stores having access to it by April 26th. It will be limited to a first press of 1000 copies to raise funds for the band's upcoming full length. The label commented:
This may seem a bit strange as Robotic Empire isn't exactly known for infectious pop-punk releases, but we wouldn't be doing this if they weren't seriously BAD ASS. The band absolutely smokes live, can drink you under the table and will have you pogoing & singing along the first (and hundredth) time you hear their songs.
The band has some tour dates lied up in March with "neo-folk" singer Josh Small.
