"New Jersey DIY label, Under Your Bed Records (www.underyourbedrecords.com) has arranged for a benefit show for Stacey Smith who was critically injured in the Midtown van accident. Stacey suffered 3 broken ribs, 2 collapsed lungs, a severe cut on her head, a detached liver, a fractured neck, among other things; all without having insurance to cover her for the medical bills and surgeries which she needed. The show is scheduled to take place on April 7th, 2001 and will feature such rocking acts as LWL, Saving Angus, Pencey Prep, MultiPurpose Solution, Doubting Robinson, RedRover, DharmaBoys, Game Over, Lester (from PA), and more. There will also be great raffles taking place throughout the show, giving away all kinds of cool merchandise, which has been donated to the cause. It all goes down at the West Paterson American Legion in New Jersey on April 7th for only 8 measly bucks. All proceeds of the show and raffles will be donated to help pay for Stacey's numerous medical bills. This is a great cause, and a chance to help out someone who is in need.
