Grind act Cretin has signed to Relapse. The band, who describe themselves as "bent on a total resurrection of the late '80s grind style," will be releasing a split with new labelmates Pig Destroyer. The band has three tracks from their demo available here.

In related news, Pig Destroyer has announced plans for a series of nine split 7" EPs. The first 7" in the series will be a split with Orthrelm, which should see a release in the summer.
