Epitaph has signed Nuremberg's the Robocop Kraus. The band will release their new full-length, They Think They Are The Robocop Kraus, in Germany June 20th through L'Age D'or / Epitaph Europe, while the rest of Europe will see a September 5th release. Recorded this past February in Stockholm, the followup to 2003's Living With Other People was produced by Pelle Gunnerfeldt (the Hives, the (International) Noise Conspiracy, Sahara Hotnights).
Also, the album will be preceded by the teaser EP, Who Do They Think They Are?, set for a release June 6th, and will include the album's first single, "In Fact You're Just Fiction," for which a video will be shot. You can check out an MP3 of "All The Good Men," also on both albums, by clicking here.
The label describes the band as a "unique blend of punk, post[-]punk and new wave. The new album…proves that the band's innovative skills and songwriting abilities leave them head and shoulders above the fads and fashions of the current post[-]punk -- or any -- revival."
