John Pope, of defunct outfit Narcissus has stepped in for Shawn Jonas who left Symphony in Peril this past March. Pope had this to say:

I am extrememly happy and excited about playing with the gentlemen in Symphony in Peril. I look forward to the journey ahead and we'll see all of you at the shows and festivals this summer!

Narcissus released their final record Crave and Collapse in 2003 while Symphony in Peril released The Whore's Trophy this year.
