WPO Records has signed Long Island, NY's Patent Pending. The band previously released Patent Pending Is Your Biological Father and Don't Quit Your Day Job . They are described as "punk/ska/hardcore/pop band" and have a selection of tracks available on their purevolume.com site.
The band is currently out on tour and will enter the studio in the Fall to record their debut for WPO.
In related news, WPO labelmates Stretch Arm Strong will be performing live on BBC Radio 1 in London on June 28th. The band can be heard on Lock Up at 4pm EST (9 pm London time) and an online stream will be available here for the week.
