The first set of dates have been announced for the upcoming Thrice headlining tour which is expected to hit the US and Canada. The band plans to bring Underoath, The Bled and Veda along.

The tour coincides with the October release of Vheissu, the band's sophomore release for Island and follow up to The Artist in the Ambulance. Tourmates the Bled will be releasing Found In The Flood, their Vagrant debut on August 23, and Veda will release The Weight Of An Empty Room this Tuesday. Underoath released They're Only Chasing Safety last year.

As some have observed, the album has indeed been pushed back to October 18th from it's original release date in September. According to a band representative:

The band has been trying to mix the album from the road and its just not working out. They need to be in the studio to mix it correctly and they can't do that until August when they're done on tour. So, after being gone since April, they're going to go straight into the studio the day after Warped Tour to finish the mixing on the record.
