Circle Takes the Square have apparently parted ways with drummer Jay Wynne. The band, who released As the Roots Undo in 2003, are currently searching for a drummer and have posted some contact information on their website.
The band recently announced plans to release a compilation of early material on Hyperrealist. Among the material expected on the release is their now out-of-print self-titled demo EP, originally released in 2003, remixed and remastered, and packaged with the band's contributions to their Perpetual Motion Machine-released split 7" with Pg.99, also out of print, onto one disc. A release was originally scheduled for this past Spring; no word on when the new date the release is set for.
Circle Takes The Square, who will be revamping their website shortly, have also begun writing their next full length.
