Alive Records has signed Atlanta, Georgia's Love Drunks. The label describes the band's sound as "blues inspired garage-punk with an upright bass player." The band's debut album is scheduled for release in January of 2006 with an extensive US tour to follow. In the coming months the band will hit the road to play shows with bands like the Vibrators, the Bloody Hollies and others. You can preview some of the band's past work on their MySpace page.
