Thick has signed St. Louis, Missouri's the Unholy Effers, whom contains Nathan Pater of Love Lost But Not Forgotten and Scott F. of Brazil and Sullen. The label describes the trio as the following: "Imagine (if you will) dual-amped guitars with enough volume to make your heart explode, drums that will make your ears bleed, and just enough melody to make you want more. It's unholy, that's for sure, pushing prog-rock boundaries in a seductive darkness."

The band will enter the studio this November to record their debut full-length, set for a Spring 2006 release. In the meantime, the band has several "basement demos" up for download on their Myspace page.
