"This is pure rumor (heard from Tre Cool, Green Day's drummer while at CBGB). Apparently in June there is going to be a Joey Ramone tribute show. The show will supposedly be on June 15th at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Bands allegedly will be Green Day, Metallica, and U2. Take with a huge grain of salt." Sounds like it could be fun… but I'd prefer to see a tribute with Screeching Weasel, The Queers, Chixdiggit, and the other bands that will always remind me of the legacy of Joey…
