A trio of Japanese bands, promoted as three of the country's best all girl punk exports, are hitting the US west coast for a short tour in November. Kicking off in LA on November 6th, the trio of Tsu Shi Ma Mi Re, Red Bacteria Vacuum and Amppez will travel north to Seattle as part of the "Japan Girls Nite" tour.
The tour includes a show as part of the ROCKRGRL Music Conference in Seattle. The event, which takes place from November 10th to 12th, seeks "to promote, encourage and celebrate women's achievements in the music industry." On Thursday, November 10th the event will honour punk pioneer Patti Smith with their Woman of Valor Award. Check with the festival's website for a full schedule.
