Thick Records has signed Atlanta, GA's Shock Cinema. According to the label, the band's "punk, new wave, and garage rock tendencies combine for a dramatic film-noir effect." The recently formed band, who features ex-members of You Are Jaguar and the Agenda, is expected to release the band's debut, the 5-song Amor Y Muerte (Love and Death) EP in Spring 2006. The disc will also feature remixes by Death from Above 1979, Subtitle, Thunderbirds Are Now!, President (Harris from Q & Not U), and Pretty Girls Make Graves.
Demos are currently available on the band's Myspace page.
