Love Equals Death, who signed to Fat in August, have announced plans to enter the studio this week.

The band will be recording the album with the ubiquitous team of Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore at the Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado. The band is hoping for a March release.

The album is expected to contain mostly brand new material, but also include re-recorded versions of tracks from their EPs, which include Hucklebuck and 4 Notes on a Dying Scale via Popsmear Records and The Prelude via Treasure Trunk.

During recording, the band will be posting updates in the form of a tour journal on their myspace page.
